About Shaw Bear
Shaw met his human family when they were vacationing in Germany. He knew the moment he saw them that they would be the ones he wanted to share adventures with, and luckily when they saw his smile they felt the same way. Born in Germany, the little bear was a bit surprised to find out that he would be living in the United States, but has adjusted wonderfully. Shaw is a fun-loving bear who enjoys travel, ice hockey, the outdoors, and causing some good-natured mischief. His wild side can easily be tamed with a nice-sized piece of Marzipan, his favorite candy. His secret ambition is to become a pilot and start up a plushie airline.
Travel with Shaw Bear
Since Shaw’s arrival in the U.S.A., he has been able to return to Germany a few times. It’s one of his favorite destinations, because it still feels like home to him. His humans have family in Germany, as well as many friends. In addition to Germany, Shaw also visited Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and The Netherlands. His best friend lives in the United Kingdom, so he’s hoping to visit there soon.
Shaw does most of his traveling with his Oma these days, since his father (‘papa’) is in the Air Force and does not have the time to care for Shaw. Still, Shaw was able to visit quite a number of States in the U.S.A.. A few of his favorites have been Texas, Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida, Alaska, and New Jersey. Getting his National Park Passport Book and National Lighthouse Book stamped is one of his favorite activities. Currently, Shaw is dreaming of the day he can visit Japan and Australia. Though these are very high on his wish list, Shaw is also happy to know that he will be going to unexpected places to visit his Papa in the future.
